Workouts Tailored to Your Needs

The first 4 weeks of the Learning Through Applications membership takes you through foundational core and pelvic floor education, exploration of pressure management, diaphragm and pelvic floor function, foundational core engagement and addressing pelvis positioning. Taking the time to explore these foundations, will allow you to hone in on your base strategy for breathing and bracing and provide you with a solid base to build further strength and movement on top of it. All of which can affect your diastasis recti and pelvic floor. It is also an important step to take when addressing hip, shoulder, feet, and neck functions.
The following months, you’ll progressively build upon this foundation to further explore, improve, and balance hip function, core strength, scapula mobility and strength, and foot function, depending on your individual needs.
Throughout the program, you’ll improve your body awareness and provide your body with novel stimuli that will take your current movement practice to the next level.
The program includes workout along with videos that are pre-recorded for you to play at your convenience to learn through movement as well as additional educational materials.
Receive support through our active Facebook Group, Live Calls, and Bonus material. Submit videos performing the exercise and have our professionals provide feedback and guidance to help you get the most out of what you are doing.
Julie Applewhite Medium

"Learning Through Applications is by far the best continuing education course I have ever taken. Following the birth of my second child, I developed chronic pain throughout my entire right side that was not responding to traditional rehab techniques. Getting direct feedback on my exercise performance made all the difference! I made more progress in 6 months than I did in the previous 3 years, my core is continuing to get stronger, I am correcting imbalances in my pelvic floor and ribcage, and I am finally able to progress to more difficult strength routines and return to activities I love without pain. As a therapist, getting feedback to correct issues on my own body as well as reviewing feedback given to others, solidified the knowledge I gained in the PCES course. I better understand the relationships between core dysfunction and joint positioning as it relates to pathology, which is creating better results in my patients. But what ultimately sets this course apart is the emphasis on self care. In addition to the educational content, this course addresses mental and emotional wellness, provides direct and timely support from course administrators, and allows interaction with other course participants. It was so empowering to join a community of amazing, intelligent female professionals as we supported each other while working to achieve common goals. This is one of the most comprehensive and well planned courses I have taken and I can’t recommend it enough!"

Julie Applewhite, DPT

"This program has come around at the perfect time for me. At 13 months postpartum, I was struggling with pelvic floor tightness and discomfort, an achy hip, neck and back. Then I learned about this program and it sounded like exactly what I needed as a practitioner and as a participant. I couldn’t be happier that I joined.

The eye for detail when giving feedback from the pros on the CES team was super impressive and very helpful for growth, both as a recipient and as a professional myself! I had rapid wins within the first few weeks and loved that the time-friendly workouts were designed to keep providing a challenge even after the program had finished. My diastasis and abdominal strength markedly improved over time, and in general, I just feel stronger! Learning Through Application was a great challenge from beginning to end and the results that came with it made it more than worth it!"

“I am the therapist I am because of this program and I just had the best pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum because of working through my own issues! I feel like as a physical therapist it can be hard to admit when you can’t fix yourself or improve your own symptoms, but being able to give patients that personal story of how I improved through the help of other therapists creates such a positive relationship. Because I have felt a lot of what my patients feel in many exercises and have been given feedback from professionals I can give them such more accurate cuing. I suggest this program to people all the time and love that I can say I personally benefitted from it!”

How is this Applications Course different from the Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist course?

The Learning Through Applications membership is for professionals who want to focus on themselves and dedicate time to doing the workouts and getting help. It is a customizable exercise program membership focused on you! You'll move through the six-module course using workout along with videos and hands-on application to focus on bringing about change to your body. It's not a CEU course in the traditional sense. You’ll be learning concepts through traditional educational materials and applying them by going through the exercises and progressive workouts. In this course, you’ll explore areas that could contribute to improving a diastasis and the function of the pelvic floor as well as addressing hip, shoulder, rib cage, and foot function.

The Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES) certification course is a 34 hour traditional course. This course is for those who want to specialize in the pregnancy and postpartum time period, providing education for all areas that could contribute to improving diastasis and the function of the pelvic floor. There are no workout along with videos in the PCES course.

If you have already taken the PCES certification course, the Learning Through Applications membership serves as a great complement to the PCES course work. In the membership, you’ll get to physically go through all of the concepts from the PCES course and receive extra troubleshooting and variations for the exercises.

Do I have to take the quiz by a certain date for CEU credit?

Due to CEU regulations and renewals we cannot guarantee credit after one year from your purchase date. So, please complete the course within one year to get your CEU credit.

What’s the refund policy?

The Learning Through Applications membership is a subscription that renews automatically each billing cycle until you set it to cancel. You can cancel future renewals right in your account at any time. Simply follow the instructions in your Getting Started Guide, or you can email [email protected] for help.
We offer a 15-day money back guarantee if this membership is not a good fit for you. Any refunds after 15 days or on automatic renewals are subject to a small processing fee, and are prorated by the month.
You will have access to the program material for the duration of your active membership only. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions about your membership or our refund policy.

How many days a week am I expected to participate in the membership?

Research shows that it takes exercising at least 3 days per week to make any noticeable change in the body. You can maintain for less, but to move forward you'll really need at least 3. The workouts each week are about 20 minutes long, so they are easy to fit in! 20 minutes is less than one TV show, even streaming.

We find women do the best when they: #1. Make the decision that they are going to do the workouts. #2. Block off the 20 minutes on their calendar so the time is set aside.

We’ve helped many extremely busy women, from CEOs and Doctors to Moms of 7! When someone decides they are ready for results, it happens.

The program is designed so you can just push play and follow along. You don’t have to organize anything. You don’t have to figure out your workouts. You just push play! All the workouts are pre-recorded so you can watch them at the time that suits you best. We’ve made it as easy as possible.

What time are the Live Calls?

There are approximately 2-3 Live Calls per month. They are held on Zoom on a variety of days and at a variety of times so we can hit more time zones. If you can’t make a call, no worries! You can submit any questions ahead of time and we’ll cover them thoroughly on the call. All calls will be recorded so you can watch them later. As a busy working mom, listening to a recording can be my favorite part because I love listening at 2x speed while I do dishes after dinner or get ready for the day.

When do I get access to the program? Does support begin immediately after the purchase?

You’ll receive immediate access to the program after you’ve made your purchase. Support lasts the duration of your time in the subscription-based membership.

I'm well past my postpartum years and have had this issue for a long time, is it too late to work on my symptoms?

It’s never too late to build strength and improve issues in the body. That’s backed by research! Studies show women can even gain muscle into their 90s!!! There is no age limit for this program. The only limiting factor is navigating online. So, if you feel comfortable signing into a program, clicking play on a video and following along, then this program will help.

Is this program designed for professionals?

This program is intended for professionals as a focused workout program to learn through applications. It's set up for both personal improvement and focus as well as professional learning.
